Deigned for a retired Indian Army Brigadier and his wife as a family and retirement home, the house employs a generous, warm Classicism, particularly where it meets the public gaze. The veranda to the ground and first floors is like a a small temple. Behind it is an arrangement of halls, bedrooms, and study areas. On the roof is a gymnasium.
