CREATIVITY

PAINTING

DRAWING

Painting offers a very different experience of creativity, using colour on a surface like paper or canvas to organise space, and experience. All of Andrew’s paintings wrestle with structure, soft and hard, superficial or deep.

Drawing has been a very important to Andrew Daws as an artist. Having travelled extensively in the US, The Mediterranean, and the east, Andrew has recorded places and people in several sketchbooks, a selection of which is presented here.

WRITING

Andrew Daws is a writer of fiction and has published several novels and short stories. His experience in the profession of architecture, extensive travelling, and working in the UK and India, has enabled Andrew to draw on his extensive experiences.
