CHHATURPUR, NEW DELHI

22000 SQ. FT.

COMPLETION EXPECTED 2022

CONSTRUCTION

Designed in the classical Palladian style, this luxurious home forms the grand centrepiece of an extensive estate located in forested land near Chattarpur, New Delhi. Combining intimacy with grandeur, the house is deliberately reminiscent of the work of architects, Edwin Lutyens, and Herbert Baker, the creators of the city of New Delhi, but updated to offer a more contemporary feel. Warm, natural stone wraps the house, and is carved for the columns and balustrades of all the porches, balconies and terraces. Inside, cool Italian marble floors connect rooms and a sweeping staircase, and teak wood panelling and doors continue the classical theme. As a setting, the house will be complemented by extensive gardens, gazebos, and a Garden Pavilion with pool, spa, and guest rooms, all designed to create a singular and unified design vision for the estate.
